Where Jesus is Lord and You are Loved!
Guided By Integrity
We, as Christian, are called in Matthew 5:8 to be pure in heart, which implies an undivided focus in following God's rule. It calls for no compromise, deviation or avoidance of the price tag that may have to be paid to stand for what we know to be right. We are also told in Proverbs 11:3. The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.
Integrity guides us to the truth. Integrity is not, in and of itself, the truth. It is a guide for acting on the truth, and it forces you to question and analyze your situation. Integrity is the process of discerning right from wrong, and then doing what you know to be right.
Let me give you two words-consistency and predictability. Consistency means "the same yesterday, today and forever," and predictability means knowing what will happen. This is why we can base out lives on God's Word, because God is consistent and predictable. In other words, we can count on god. You cannot have integrity without consistency and predictability.
Jesus said in Luke 16:10-12: "He who is faithful is what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. therefore if you ave not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give what is your own?"
This principle is so true. If you are a person of integrity, whatever else may be going on around you is irrelevant and immaterial, and it is below your personal dignity not to follow through on your word. Why should God make a commitment to you when He cannot trust you? We are promises, our words, and we lose hold of ourselves when we do not make an effort to keep our word.
According to Webster's Dictionary, integrity means the quality or state of being of sound moral principle; uprightness; honesty and sincerity. It is a quality or state of being something you do on a consistent basis, just like the proverb says.
A person with these qualities is willing to bear the consequences of his or her convictions, even when those consequences are difficult or unpleasant. If we are never challenged, we can never really know how deeply we believe and are committed to our belief.

Charity Christian Center
Church History
The word of God says "upon this rock I will build my church and the gates
of hell shall not prevail against it." Charity Christian Center was formed
upon a vision that the Lord gave our Pastor, Don L. Bradford in 1985. After
several months of home bible study and a miraculous trip to the Kenneth
Hagin Camp Meeting in 1985, the Lord birthed Charity Christian Center
into the pastor's spirit.
Even before the body of Charity Christian Center came together, miracles
began to happen in the lives of its future members. Because of the influence
of Don and Linda Bradford 's ministry, many people were baptized in the
Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. When we
finally came together as a body, the revelation of God's love was so strong
in our hearts, that we were assured that there could only be one possible
name for the church; Charity Christian Center, The church were Jesus is
Lord and you are loved.
Our first service was held on October 25, 1985 in a room which was to be a
bedroom addition to the pastor's house at 5624 Georgetown. The Lord
moved mightily in that service. About 25 to 30 persons united with Pastor
Bradford and his family to officially become members of CCC. From this
day forward, the Lord began to minister to all of us concerning vision, unity,
love and faithfulness. The anointing was powerful and God's presence
always saturated each meeting; so much so that at times all we could do
was weep in the spirit. The hearts of the people were so toward God that a
special faith engulfed the entire ministry to believe God for all our needs,
great or small. The spirit of excellence abided from the very beginning.
At our first service, we incorporated our Childen's Church. Even the
children were excited and flowed in the presence of God. Our music was
also established at this time under the direction of Roland Wilson. Although
few in number and lacking in skill the group always flowed under the
anointing. There was always an expectancy in the air and an assurance that
God was able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or
think.
The ministry began to grow rapidly and soon there was hardly enough room
to accommodate the people. We knew then that it was time to find another
place of worship. God was doing so many things in the ministry and
everything was happening so fast that as soon as we stepped out, He
moved. God used a blessed couple in the Lord, Roy and Effie Carter, to
seek possible buildings were we could relocate. Pastor Bradford found the
Perkins Rd property and a group of us toured the building. As soon as we
entered the sanctuary, we knew that this was the place God had appointed
for us at this time. We prayed and set out to acquire the property. Three
families, Charles and Dianne Brooks, Lucien and Brenda Ephron and
Anthony and Sherry Gauthier stood with the pastors to support the acquisition of
the property. God moved in a miraculous way and by December of that
year, we had our first service at 4270 Perkins Road.
The Lord added to the church daily through much prayer and steadfastness
in His Word. We began to add other ministries, such as the nursery, prayer
room counseling, tape and sound department, teen ministry, ushers and
greeters, van ministry and an evangelism team. But there yet remain much
work to do. God gave to us a specific area to which to minister. We believe
we must reach the South Baton Rouge area, the City, the State, and the
World for Christ.
In keeping with this vision, the Lord laid the former Blundon Home
property on the pastor's heart. After much deliberation with the Blundon
Home Board of Directors and fasting by the church body, the Blundon
Home property was acquired for the kingdom of God for the miraculous
price of $200,000.00.
Kingdom Kids Daycare center was established at the new location August of
1991, along with our Victorious Living Ministry, a Clothing Distribution
Center and our Summer Day Camp. On Sunday, December 17,1992, we
held our first service in our new Location. The following year Charity
Christian Academy was established and Kingdom Kids was changed to
Charity Christian Preschool and moved to our new Highland Road
Location.
Our Church ministry has expanded to numerous other community outreach
ventures. One of which was the Hurricane relief center in August of 2005 to
provide aide, food: shelter, clothing, and spiritual support to the thousands
of hurricane evacuees from the metropolitan New Orleans area.
"As the Lord has answered me and said, write the vision and make it plain
upon tables, that he may run that readeth it, for the vision is yet for an
appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry,
wait for it: because it will surely come, it will not tarry." (Habakkuk 2:2,3)

Academy Confession
I have the mind of Christ. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I am the head and not the tail. Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. I am an obedient and excellent child of God, and today is going to be a blessed day !!
Mission Statement
The mission of Charity Christian Center Preschool is to train a generation of leaders who are academically and spiritually sound and who will impact the city, the state, and the world for Jesus.
A Message From the Director's Desk...
Hello, and welcome to the "Best School in the city of Baton Rouge"…. Charity Christian Preschool!! Where making an IMPACT in your child's life is our goal. We believe that no student of CCP, should leave at the end of the school year the same way that he started the year off. Our prayer is that the students at Charity Christian Center Preschool demonstrate both spiritual and academic growth throughout the school year.I am excited about the new school year. Many new programs have been put into place to help your child grow academically and spiritually and to make this school year the best one yet. This year, you will notice the adoption of a few of Marva Collins' concepts in education. The students at CCP will now be exposed to Classical Music on a daily basis each morning during journal writing time and throughout the day. Studies have shown that listening to Classical music will increase a person's I.Q several points. What a way to open the minds before introducing concepts!!! Students will also be exposed to a variety of Proverbs to help challenge their thinking during journal writing time.I am also very excited to announce that each classroom is now equipped with a computer that has Internet connections and the computer lab has been updated with new computers that also have Internet capabilities. God is awesome and the best is still yet to come.I want to encourage you to continue to lift up Charity Christian Academy. Pray that an abundance of wealth and knowledge overtakes the leaders and students…and of course you, the parent. Join us any morning for our vibrant chapel services at 8:00 a.m. Mark your calendars to attend the Parent Teacher Meetings, and please, please keep a close relationship with your child's teacher(s). Find out what can be done at home to assist with your child's growth and development. On behalf of the Headmasters, we appreciate you for making Charity Christian Center Preschool your school of choice. We pray God's blessing on your family. Have a peaceful day.
Educationally Yours,
Dr. Linda F. Bradford, Director

We believe that the first step in becoming a disciple is to be “free indeed.” Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32 NIV).
Here at Charity Christian we give our member the opportunity to experience freedom - freedom from habits, bondages, bitterness, wrong thoughts, and past mistakes. We believe the Lord will set you free through the power of the cross.
